Wagon Uacns-z

4-axled tank wagon Uacns-z is destined for transport of bulk freight, powdered materials (like cement, lime, stone flour, kaolin) and other materials with granulation up to 3 mm.

Wagon loading is achieved by free drop of goods through openings on upper part of wagon tank. Unloading is performed by compressed air pressure, through 4 openings located on lower part of wagon tank, to both wagon sides.

Wagon is built according to UIC 505-1 standard and it complies to UIC, RIV and Croatian Railways standards.

Coupling gear

Coupling gear is frontal-type, according to UIC 520 and UIC 521 standard, with elastomer-type spring type RG 15 (TS-2), tensile hook is type B with suspension force of 1000 kN and clutch with 850 kN suspension force.

Buffers

Buffers are in A class (30 kJ), with 4 rectangular buffer plates, according to UIC 526 and 527-1 standard and with elastomer-type spring.

Braking equipment

Wagon is equipped with hand brake and air brake according to UIC 540 - 545 standard. Air brake GP-2x12" is automatic. Braking equipment also has gear box device 'passenger-goods" and mechanical switching device "empty-loaded".
Braking leverage is equipped with two automatic regulators RSP-2A-H1-450. There is one main air pipeline tap mounted on both wagon ends. Two 12" braking cylinders are also installed, main air pipeline is 5/4" in diameter.
Hand brake with spindle and bevel gears acts to bogies through braking leverage. Hand brake manipulation is handled by from wagon platform.

Platforms, stairs, holders and signal supports

There is a platform with fence on one wagon end. Wagon is equipped with stairs and holders, according to UIC 535-1 and UIC 535-2 standard.
Signal supports are made according to UIC 532 standard. There are 2 dragging hooks on wagon, according to UIC 536 standard. There are also leaflet frames, one on each side of the wagon.

Painting and inscriptions

Wagon is painted and marked with RAL 8012 paint, according to UIC, RIV and Croatian Railways standards. Tank is painted with stone white epoxi bitominous-type paint (RAL 7030).
